Child and Family Studies Center

The Child and Family Studies Center is a "Lab School" that offers various programs for children.

Programs

The center provides the following programs:

• Morning Preschool
• Extended & Full Day Preschool

Morning Preschool

The Morning Preschool program is designed for children 2 years 6 months through 5 years of age. It is structured around a variety of experiences that require active participation from the children. Utilizing the Creative Curriculum, classroom centers include:

• Art
• Science
• Woodworking
• Water and sand play
• Blocks
• House area
• Tabletop manipulatives
• Books
• Language related materials
• Computers Children are free to select any or all of the available activities each day. Teachers and assistants act as facilitators at the various centers.

Program Details

• The Morning Preschool program is available from Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 11:30am, and costs $570 per month.
• The Extended Day Preschool program is available from Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 3:00pm, and costs $800 per month.
• During the Fall and Spring academic semesters, Half-Day Preschool programs are fifteen weeks long, subject to change.
